@scarletohara2008 maybe the disk you were tying to restore from needed the correct 'raid' type driver added for the system bios to recognise is as the correct type (ie SATA / IDE)
have you tried to restore from the system imagine? what a night mare, it asked for drivers i found a driver disk & it would not take it....it would not accept the system image either.
Please someone answer me ASAP. If i do both backups, and i install linux/ubuntu, If something goes wrong with linux/ubuntu, and i run this back up, will my computer be fine and still have windows 7 running perfectly fine? Or do I have to know to how install windows 7 all over again in order to regain my computer?
