Oh,one more thing. The assistant director of this film was George Lucas!

Don Francks (woody) was said had died in a auto crash after this film. Totally untrue! His last credit was the The Curse of the Piano in 2008. I´m amazed he did not turn out to be a leading man.
Anyway, he is terrific in this scene.

@cboncklis I agree. This is romantic, and fairly innocent seduction compared to some. A classic song! "You've got me flying high and wide, on a magic carpet ride...full of butterflies inside" I'd say she's into him.

@vegetables88 Some people have a lot of trouble to see the difference between reality and movies. That's creepy!

I always supremely creeped out by this guy. I love the song but what guy corners a super naive girl in the woods and tells her the only way not to die is to make out with me? I know it's supposed to be romantic... but I guess it's the way she absolutely not into him yet he decides its ok to just up and kiss her...

I love this old movie. This was a very romantic song without being too forward.

@exackerly Because real riverbanks that time of year have hordes of mosquitoes - as I learned to my dismay as a young man.
-
@danigirl00 I know! :( Same here...........life should always be like movie musicals.
-
who is singing here with Pet Clark i thought it was Keenan Whynne

Don Francks is still alive. Google him.

Love this film, cute scene, but totally unrealistic...I mean handsome men don't ever romance me on a beautiful riverbank!!!! WHY!?
