(cont'd from prev. post)... Don't play the low E string or the high E string for that passing chord. Walk that chord to the D/A chord you are using, resolve it with the A chord and you are home "Free". Pretttttty cool, huh?

Almost right...try this and see how you like it...you have the A...D/A..A.... (the first three chords). When you go to that next passing chord, instead of staying on that D/A thing, lift your index finger, keep your middle finger on the 3rd fret (on the B string as you have it)...only fret that note and hit that passing chord with the other strings "open". Don't play the low E string or the high E string for that passing chord. ...(cont'd)
