@5:00 I started to judge this for being to sloppy. Talking to myself about how it's messy and fast..jump to a few seconds later, @5:30, as I'm being judgmental, tears start welling up. He's playing the melody line inside the arpeggios! Gets me every time.

Heifetz just looks like he was born holding a violin. Of course his sound is gorgeous, but he also just looks so good playing. (That said, and no disrespect to the great Heifetz, but Millstein's Chaconne is my personal favorite). Thanks for posting this great clip.

@kriemhild85 An impossibly difficult piece. Maybe when Bach wrote it, no one could play it,and he could only hear it in his own head. Very possible.
