Preview of the Upcoming Firmware Update for the Samsung i8910 + a bit extra

This is a preview of the firmware update for the Samsung i8910 Omnia HD expected in late January 2010. This is not the final update that will be released (it's i8910XXIL3), a more recent version will be released without the bugs mentioned. The update features kinetic scrolling, updated web browser and an updated graphics engine as stated on Samsung's website http://www.samsung.com/us/aboutsamsung/news/newsIrRead.do?news_ctgry=irnewsre... . Also in the video are demos of some apps from Samsung Mobile Innovator and Qt applications. Currently you need to have the Italian firmware. The update will be available in other regions soon though.

i have a question about your ipod touch is the screen glass becaouse i am gonna maybe buy iphone 3gs and i wanna know if the screen is glass becaouse if i maybe dropped on the floor ?and its cracked

Yes, it's made of hardened glass. It won't scratch or break easily. I've dropped mine several times and nothing happened.

n it was really difficult to convince my parents to buy me the most expensive mobile available in the market that time(4-5 months ago) as m 18 u know i hav show off nature in me...n ma frnd liked ma phone except the iphone lover coz of U.I. but i want to impres them 2..so waiting for the update..... 1 question..does thisnew update include 3D task switcher???

Yes the new update has the 3D task switcher and several other enhancements. Hopefully the update will officially come out soon.

Currently, i flashed my phone to a custome FW version named "HyperX - V11" but do u no how to go back to the original samsung FW version?

Samsung screwed me over, I bought the phone when it just came out .. I payed arround 600 euros, and I've god damned waited almost a whole year for an update, it took like 1 min to open some things the phone drove my crazy .. now the update is finaly here (in the netherlands) I will be updating it in a few mins. I better it's a good update (I don't have an xp pc only vista and 7 so I couldn't flash, and I didn't wan't to use vpc, since it fucked my dvd drive on my old laptop)
