Connecting all type of Mac Machines (iMac - Macbook - Macbook Pro - Mac Mini - Mac Pro) to LCD / LED / 3D TV:

Type 1 using Mini Display Port ("Apple Thunderbolt Display") to VGA Adapter: Connect Mini Display port Adapter end to the Mac and other end to a VGA Cable which goes into the TV.

Type 2 using Mini Display port to Hdmi Adapter: Connect Mini Display port Adapter end to Mac and other end to a Hdmi Cable which goes into the TV.

Type 3 using Mini Display Port to DVI Adapter: Connect Mini Display port Adapter end to Mac and the other end to a DVI Cable which goes into the TV through an HDMI.

    HDMI supports better resolution and is a newer technology, thus HDMI is way better!!

  • so i have it all working and shit but the resolution doesnt seem too be working.

    i can see my mac on my tv but i the top and sides of the screen are cut off, i looked into the displays arrangment and they arnt completly on top of eachtother and it wont let me move them. please help :)

    You need to change the Setting on the TV to "PC" mode.

    See if that works! If not let us know!!

  • heyy.... i do have samsung led.. bought hdmi cable and adapter.. it's not working.....

    any suggestions?

  • @johnburnett100 yes but HDMI wont work for PC it works fine for Mac ! VGI is best for both of them i think specially for PC

  • @PoKerFaceN1 HDMI because PC is better than Macs. PC has more stuff than Macs.
