do you have to use a blowdryer?

@Athecubus No, I prefer to do it on a hot/warm day so they can dry off themselves. I use a hair dryer because most of the time (even when its a warm day) they shiver after a bath and I want to dry them off faster. I rub them down with a towel first to get most of the water off them then I will use the hair dryer. If you are going to use the hair dryer remember to have it on a cool to warm setting and hold it far away from your piggie.

I have had my guinea-pigs for 2 years and I have never bathed them, but I would like to, the only thing is, is that they dont really like being handled, but do you reacon that I would be able to do this? I especially need to do it with my rosette haired! :)

@Hannaah4Horses Well its going to be difficult because you didn't start bathing them when they were young so they will be a little more scared. I believe you can do it, especially for the health of your animal. Try to make it as quick as possible, do what i did and hold them under slightly warm water, once they are wet take them out, shampoo them on a towel and then put them under the water again to rinse them off. Good luck :)
