This state park is located on a small island near Englewood on Florida's Gulf coast. It is a beautiful, secluded get-a-way. The beach is great for long walks, shelling and looking for shark's teeth. The water is warm and shallow. Snorkeling is fun when water is clear.

  • That is a austrailian pine stump. That is Palm Island on the other side. Little gaspirilla and gasperilla are way further down.

The vertibra is from a ancient whale. The park service really screwed up the beach by killing off the trees as they help protect against erosion. And sharks have cartilige. Though you can find teeth as that is the only thing that survives time.
