I think this was good... Well some of it. I liked the music a little. Liked the Dreams together parts. I think this would have done better as a stage show. But as a night time stage show. I see where disney was going with this but maybe if they had put it as a stage show Disney wouldn't be so ashamed of the name "Light Magic"

I want to know how they thought they could this off as a good Electrical Parade replacement, there were other great attractions ruined with crap like this within that time period. Stupid Eisner.

@TsWade2 I think what they should do with Fantasyland Theatre is bring back Animazement: The Musical!! That would be awesome!!

If the floats didn't create such a fire hazard and didn't ruin main street, I think Light Magic would have done just fine if Disney didn't make such a big fuss over the leaving of the Main Street Electrical Parade. If they hadn't adverstised on commericals that it was going away and not coming back and just let it quietly leave and then brought Light Magic in, it would have been fine. I personally thought it was fun. But there were multiple reasons for its demise.

One thing I do like is that they used some more obscure characters, like Clarabelle Cow, The Three Little Pigs, Quasimodo, etc.

I suggest they should rewrite it and make it into a stageshow at Fantasyland Theatre. They could add Tinker Bell and her friends and make a new story. Just a suggestion.

where did they park the stage that wasn't used during the small world performance did it hang out at the Market House gate until the Main Street performance?

My guess (and this is only a guess) is that after replacing the Main Street Electrical Parade what guests expected to see was...a parade. Which this, despite many special effects, is not - this is a street performance. In essence, Disney though guests cared more about the "electrical" than the "parade". They guessed wrong.

I was in this parade, & it was a killer to do. It may not have done well, but it was fun to do, & it was cool to have just about every Disney character ever in one parade.

I heard that the take the old floats out to a disney warehouse in the desert so they dont have to get moisture on them and get moldy.

One of them was used for the final Castle float of the Parade of Dreams I think.

God this parade brings back soo many memories from when i was a kid. When ur a kid, it doesnt have to have a plot, its sappose to entertain. I remember 1 of the pixies pulled me from the sidewalk and i got to dance with her. God i was like 9 i think, but i was sooo excited. Days i miss being a kid in the 90s.... i even had a cd that included the light magic song, i listened to that song when i was a kid alot. Prob because im part irish so lol

Amazingly after the short run of this parade amid the insane leavingd of the Electric Light Parade which now can't keep attedance up at DCA, whatever happened to these amazingly designed parade floats? The technology and artistic artisty was beautiful far beyond any recent Disneyland float ever created in California, at the least.

I like Light Magic! It's a well done performance. People and the critics who don't like Light Magic are just plain miserable. Even my parents did not like it. But, I'm so happy I'm not the only person in the world likes Light Magic.

Okay, well this in my opinion doesn't seem as bad as people make it out to be. The problem, too long in the wrong direction. I believe the Block Party Bash was longer but it was insanely high energy. This wasn't very high energy but the concept was okay. The problem is the whole river dancing vibe and pixies. I swear if it would have been like a forest of friends with magic pixies who throw a celebration to welcome Mickey and his friends it would have been nice. Not characters in robes. C-

i used to work for a company that took tourist from Texas to Cali and see all teh attractions there. i remember thinking to myself, "this is what replaced the Main Street Electrical Parade?? This sucks!!!" the only good thing i like is the music, which i have on my Ipod and do listen to. other than that, i was so disappointed with the show.

whats the story linee !! the good part was the video montage thingg and The Music ! But I Odnt Get What the video has to do with the parade ! also , what on earth are witht he characters they bring , quasimoto , one little pig and one dwarf the others were fine but whatt ? I Dont Get It !
