wow this is a little kid! and u would say something about this. if he keeps it up and works hard he will b good someday. u probably cant even jump a foot off the ground let alone go through the hard work and struggle of perfecting the sword. he will b the one with the happy life, all the women and all the money someday while ur eating potato chips and leaving negative comments about other ppl just to bring urself up and make u look like somebody.

this kid is really good for 6... most of the 6 year olds i teach don't have an attention span that long... and even though he's not actually using those moves to hurt people, all of those moves originated from a practical usage, so if the kid where to know what each move was for he could actually use it in a fight if he needed... so suck it hawaiianstile

im saying change the name from XMA to XSD (extreme sword dancing) calling it a martial art (which the MA stands for) undermines real martial artists. and no you didn't say he was a sword master, but in XMA when people are older and better sword dancers they are referred to as sword masters and im just saying thats ridiculous. someone putting on a plumber uniform and dancing around with a wrench not knowing the first thing about plumbing is a more accurate analogy.

i don't recall ever calling it a martial art, just telling you to stop putting down the six year old. and i never called the kid a sword master, so don't put words in my mouth, and respect the different styles. would you criticsize a plumber because his craft has no value in a fight? no, and it is the same for xma, its not meant to be a martial art, so don't criticsize it for being impractical

exactly, the purpose has nothing to do with fighting so don't frigin call it a martial art, it is a performance art and its title should reflect that. and dont call him a sword master, hes a dance master NOT a sword master.

the purpose of writing is to get a point across, my spelling is perfectly good enough to accomplish that task. the point of fighting is not to defeat others without getting defeated, and he absolutely fails at that goal. by doing what hes doing it would be like me intentionally practicing to spell wrong, and yes if that was the case you might as well not even bother. doing nothing is better than actively hurting the cause.
