I wonder how many of those dislikes were impatient people who didn't watch the full video? People are so dumb sometimes.

Hi I like your tutorials they are very precise and easy to follow and I for one appreciate you taking the time to do it. Thanks Suz

those are so cool!

LOVE IT!!! AWESOME

Thank you! These are really helpful instructions; I've been wanting to make one of these for a while and now I have. It only took a couple of hours even though I braided my own rope to do it!
Thank you so much for sharing!

@BeyondBracelets yes please do that!!! that would be awesome cause there aren't any videos on YouTube to show how to make a layered wrap bracelet :)
-
i use clear nail polish at the ends of the strings and kind twist them until they are dry and they work well :) (super glue scares me...too many accidents haha). And this is the tutorial is exactly what I was looking for. I watched another one by beading aunts and she wanted us to get like 10 or 20 feet of string and i was like um...yea no. My brain will explode.

@djinnthespazz Well, I have severe Sleep Apnea and it's so bad that I never really sleep... and when I do it's only 20 minutes or so at a time...so yeah. I'm nearly always out of it since I'm just so exhausted... Fortunately I'm close to getting a machine to help me breath at night so maybe I'll sound better soon.
Anyway, You're quite welcome. I'm glad you enjoyed the tutorial.

@K8e92 and i've found that the "brand name" versions can cost up to $30! that's crazy. i'd much rather make my own and show it off.
-
@belukro Glad you enjoyed it, have fun!
-
@K8e92 Yeah, it's nice being able to make something for next to nothing and to top it off you have the pride from knowing you made it.
-
i saw this exact thing at walmart today and i was mad that they think they can charge like $5 for something i can make for myself
-
Thank you! Perfect--this instructional video is exactly what I was looking for, now I know a new technique!! :)
-
@thejonesbunch Thanks. Enjoy!

Thnx for the tip on glueing the tip of the thread for eay stringing...thnx for sharin the video too...:)
where did you get those square/ rectangle beads like the bracelet in the thumbnail? i tried looking for them in michaels but i couldn't find them

@iluvthesums The picture isn't mine. I had no nice beads so I (gasp) used an image from Google. It's rare I do that but at 3am when I wanted to do this bracelet I wasn't able to run out and get the leather/glass beads... people probably wouldn't click a yarn and pony bead bracelet in good conscience. It's likely I'll redo this video eventually- this was prior to my new camera so the quality is awful.
That said, I've seen square beads at Walmart or in the isles at Micheals stranded bead section.

@KannikaIamphongdee Haha, I didn't like the materials I used. I was meaning to do this with leather and glass beads (or stone) but at 3am when I made this video a craft store run would be out of the question. I still haven't gotten around to making a really nice one... maybe I should get on that. =x

thank you so much for taking the time to show us. It is like having an instructor sitting side by side with you while doing this. you saved me $25 dollars for cancelling the beading class for this.
I just got a question for you. I know how to do for one row, but if I want to add multiple rows to the bracelet you have shown . Do I increase the outer rows to make it looks like a cuff , instead of a wrap?
Thanks you so much, looking forward for more of your videos
wonton71 7 months ago
@wonton71 The multi-stranded ones with beads between the strands? You'd need to make a base of one, add in a string beside it and bead between the new strand and the 'completed' strand to elongate it some. I'm not sure if that's what you were asking... but yeah. I guess I could try to do a tutorial on making a larger cuff out of them when I get some time.
