I played in a couple of industrial metal bands (dethkultur bbq and ranch industry) in Houston TX and had the chance to open for these guys a couple of times. The old drummer of skrew, eddie had a younger brother named collin that played bass in dk bbq when I was in the band. I wish they would have put out more stuff than they did. Though I read a few months ago that there was return and new record planned.

I am not a very big fan of Industrial Metal, my favourite Metal subgenre is Thrash Metal. But for Skrew along with Fear Factory I have to make an exception.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAmazing, first time ive even heard of them , im impressed
I'm 20 years old and I'm from texas. I got into this band last year while searching for bands similar to ministry. :D I would like some recommendations from anyone, if you have some...please leave them as a reply.
Did you know Wesley Willis has a song about this band? XD

yep, we knew about the wesley willis tune. it was a trip. if you like ministry & skrew go find N17's trust no one, it absolutely slays. other good early lesser known industrial bands are kmfdm, 16 volt, chemlab, skatenigs, schnitt acht (if you can find any), drown, and definitely skinny puppy & prong too if you haven't gotten into them. also scum of the earth has a few ex-skrew members currently.

i saw this the first on beavis and butthaed back like in 93 or 4 and they said it was a white zombie rip off...a gfood song and vid been looking for 14 years for this lol

it premiered during beavis & butthead's "butt bowl" episode in 1995. the zombie comment was unfair, if anything it was the other way around. 2 songs on white zombie's 2nd disc ripped off skrew tunes quite a bit, and rob zombie even went so far as to hire the skrew guitarist in this video as soon as he went solo - the long blond haired guy in the video is better known as riggs these days. skrew was just on a much smaller label than zombie was so they got overshadowed.

@demonlager
But Skrew had already disbanded when riggs joined Zombie.

@AstroCreep1984 True. He was also in his own band Burn that he fronted (much like he does in Scum Of The Earth now), then was also in Prong between Skrew and Zombie. But skrew's first album predates la sexorcisto, and skrew's 2nd album (with riggs) predates astro creep. Of course white zombie and zombie went on to be far larger bands, I'm just saying calling skrew a zombie ripoff was unfair because not only were they coexisting at the same time they also predated them in some ways.
