Petting an Irritated Goliath Beetle

She's not too keen on being petted, but I was trying to convey her strength. She wasn't harmed by this, just irritated. She was so strong, she was shoving my finger off her head, using her whole body. She was a Goliath Beetle bred in Thailand, though native to Africa. Sorry, I can't help anyone get one, she is long since passed away and I have zero connections on getting these.

@cablecar830 I find that insects, of the same species aren't carbon copies of one another. They have different living preferences, as well as food likes/dislikes. Pam was very shy when I got her, very timid, but grew secure in her environment, and even showed zero fear around my cat/dog. Those videos are on, too. They are capable of more than we give them credit for. They're not dogs, but there is something there...

@zoranzo117 Yes, Goliath Beetles can fly. They can fly straight, or over a sharp corner to get to the kitchen :) It's super loud though when they do. They're a little clumsy though- normal for a beetle.
