For first day of easter. Martin Luther, the eight verses of the hymn, 1524 (Wackernagel, III, #15)
First annual cycle (Leipzig 1723-24)

Verse 2 (S, A)
That death no one could subdue
Amongst all mankind's children;
This was all caused by our sin,
No innocence was found then.
From this came, then, death so quick
And seized power over us,
Held us in his realm as captives.
Hallelujah!

  • @baster1971 Why don't you buy yourself the CD? If you like it, it's nothing but fair to support the artists...

  • I love the cornetto that doubles the soprano...

  • bad quality, that's a pity...

  • Proste i genialne, prospektujące na genialność wypowiedzi muzycznej w nieopodalekiej przyszłości geniusza...

  • Simply Divine!

  • Touched by the hand of God

  • Awesome!
