  • This is pretty good performance-wise, but ladies lets not look like we are about to cry :)

  • For the sake of saving you some time, this quartet hasn't sung together in over 5 years, so your attempt to "coach" them may be falling on deaf ears.

  • @OCTenor2 lolz

  • Buzz Haeger arranged this version. You can buy it through the Society or through a lot of the acappella music store sites.

Haeger's tag has an additional swipe for the bass section in the tag. On the 2nd syllable of the word "again" right before the phrase "anyone but you" at the end, the bass swipes down to an Eb with some minor moves in other parts. I'd like to hear that live!

  • woah, I'm doing that exact same arrangement in my choir right now lol

  • it's my dreams are through.

    not blue.

    (:

  • Hey Shawn! Who arranged this? I'm interested in getting a copy for a group I sing with...

  • only female quartet ever with attractive members

  • well, i think it's greaaaaaatttttttt !

  • okay, dude, back off. I was giving my flippin honest opinion. mkay? if all you are going to do is jump my ass about an opinion then seriously grow up.

For the record, yeah, Clinicians generally like to know you are enjoying what you are doing. You don't get docked points for smiling. what you get docked points for is performance, tonality, and presentation. I said nothing about those until you came in.

    GTFO.

  • Let me know how that works for you when the performance judge docks you points for smiling during a sad song.

  • Actually i had too. Even if the song is sad, its never a good idea when performing to look like your about too burst into tears the entire time. Even a faint smile will enhance the way a group looks at performing a piece.
