The word always existed and God is the word..My faith is in the word of God and God himself and not in any man or church for my salvation, only Jesus can save us not any man or any church can grant you salvation...and I never said I believe in once saved always saved...

@smanzi333 Pope John Paul II apologized to many for the actions of our Catholic church. Many (throughout history and today) have done much to scandalize the faith. Scandal greatly harms everyone in and outside the church. Who is guilty of what, only God knows.

We have the 7 sacraments, including Jesus in the Eucharist. Why hasn't the Catholic faith shined bright enough to heal these divisions and bring our brothers back home into the Catholic Church. Mea Culpa, Mea Culpa.

@HazzTube Jesus also said what you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven . Thus we can be confident that whatever the Church says to be true and acceptable is just that. Jesus gave us the Church, the Church gave us the Bible. That is what protestants refuse to look at. They know they're wrong but are defending the way in which they were taught, they are not defending Christ. They are also defending luther and calvin, The true False prophets and Idols? All you can do is pray for them!!

I want to know so I can clear up questions that may have about other doctrine such as Mortal sin. Luther belived in Mortal sin as the earliest Church fathers did and Calvin did not... Once saved always saved? Sorry; Jesus said not everybody who says Lord, Lord will reach salvation!!!

I am amazed how Jesus always appear as a baby in Mary's or Joseph's arms or crucified and dead on the cross. Almost appears as if they are trying to say Jesus is powerless.
