@RedResurrections I think the obd1 scanner will work for 93s as well because I have the port that it plugs into on my steering column. I have been reading ls1lt1dotcom forums and almost everything points to the ICM so I'm gonna go ahead and try to replace it. And yes, good luck to the both of us =) haha. Let me know how yours turn out.
@MrXqzet No i haven't, i'm tired of throwing money into random sensor's. So i have a aldl 12 pin obd1 scanner cable and software i bought off a website comming through mail, it will run a datastream on my pc to find the issue. You're z28 being a 93 i'm not sure it will work i have a 94z and i think the cable only reads obd1 94-95 LT1 engines but im not to sure. Ask people on lS1LT1dotcom forums website they have alot of knowedge on our cars. Good luck to both of us :P
@RedResurrections I'm having the same problem as you with my 93 z28. When the engine sits for a while, it starts up fine. But when I try to start it after it's been running for a while, it'll sputter for 2 minutes then run fine. Once, I tried to start it after it's been running the whole day, then it just stalled on me. I have an automatic 93 lt1. Have you ever got your problem fixed?
