The Gulf of Finland is a diverse playing field for fishing many different species. The average water depth in the archipelago area is less than ten metres, with pike, zander and perch as the main game species. Perch is a common catch throughout the Gulf of Finland, offering great experiences. Half-kilo perch strike jigs voraciously on the edges of shallows and in rapid-flowing sounds. http://www.visitfinland.com/fishing

Beautiful fish and great fishing venue - but I do hope a lot gets returned?
I hate seeing course fish killed and eaten as opposed to protected.
