My very first performance of this routine in a contest. DISMLAIMER: I think I was practicing the routine a bit less Allegro than the contest music. I started out OK but then freaked out because I couldn't do the routine that fast.
Recorded on January 30, 2010 using a Flip Video camcorder.

  • Hey Glenn, SO great talking to you!!! If your ever in my area, please give a ring..... You did great!!!! George

  • @guil01234 Thanks George. I totally lost my mind though and only made it about 2/3 through before the music ended (which I could feel coming). At least in the contest at TwirlMania I planned a better final pose! This one looks like I'm being held up at gunpoint.

  • Pretty well for your first performance, i suggest you smile more and watch your free hand. My twirling teacher always gets on to me for that haha, also slow down when you are about to do a hard trick, i do the same when i do 2 or 3 batons at once and it really helps you:)

  • Hey Twirling Guy! I think u did Great!!! I can only hope to show as well as u did on my first time... Tryin to get hold of u and talk via phone, would like to talk to someone closer to my age bout late starting twirling..... Get back at me....Thanx

  • Nice job TG. Keep your head up on your spins - it look a bit better and you get to see where the baton is. Excellent speed and smoothness you've got there. Great twirl technique as well.

  • wonderful start! you have a lot of potential to be a really great twirler..keep it up!
