Defeating the Black Rabite

A lot of people don't understand the Black Rabite, making bold statements like "He restores his health without you knowing" or "He can just go nuts".

These are the people who don't understand that the Black Rabite is a COUNTER-DRIVEN boss. That is to say, most of the horrible things he can do to you (aside from "Psycho Wave Torture" and Ancient) are all reactions based on YOUR actions...mostly spells and Level 2/3 Techs. If you avoid doing these things, the Black Rabite falls into place rather easily.

As for why I don't get the Moogle Belt at the end...I honestly cannot say. I think it has something to do with that Saint Beam I cast at the end to cure the boredom (I figured the Rabite should do SOMETHING). Who knows.

I dunno, it's a very enjoyable game from what I've seen, but looking at all these videos, you just spend a ton of time in the menus. Doesn't that break the flow or is it still an enjoyable game?

Surprisingly, the menus become part of the flow. I know it's kinda lame when you have spellcasters, but when you've got an all male team, you don't spend that much time in there.

@UmbreonMessiah Actually Seiken Densetsu translates to legend of the holy sword. Sei = holy or saint Ken = sword or fist depending on the kanji (here its sword).
