You Were There from Ico on STL Florentine Tenor Ocarina

Ico was one of my all time favorite games. While the gameplay was innovative and fun, what really made the game great (in my opinion) was the beautiful soundtrack, which added so much to the overall experience. The creators of this game went on to make Shadow of the Colossus, and it was recently announced that they are working on a new project called Trico for the PS3! I'd thought I'd celebrate this news with a piece from Ico which I was saving for a rainy day.

The ocarina used is the Florentine Tenor from STL.

I like it! I did notice the ocarina was a bit sharp compared to the instrumental. I guess ocarinas tend to be that way though. :)

@PrincessLelouch Yes, ocarinas have an unstable pitch, so any flatness or sharpness is my fault. I don't have perfect pitch, but I'm usually pretty good at staying on pitch with accompaniment. Sometimes when I record, the transcoding process sharpens the pitch a little, but I don't know how to fix that.

Hey I really want to play this song on my Ocarina..I was hoping you could show me how...Like erm...The holes on the ocarina are numbered right? I was wondering if you could send me them please? Cause I've been trying to translate the music sheet of this song into the numbers but I'm finding it really difficult cause the song goes really high pitched to really low that just doesn't fit in well with the numbers on the Ocarina >.<
