just received an invite from Capital One & I am definitely going to apply. Secured credit cards are one of the only ways to actually build on your credit faster without purchasing a new car, or another MAJOR purchase. I have a lot of work to do on my credit, & hopefully this works! :)

What if you do not have a credit record, because you have never had a credit card - should you start with a secured card? Thank you for the information!
