@3Z3K13L08 Yeah, the 2600K is pretty awesome. I heard that the SATA problems won't be sorted out any time soon and that the "updated" motherboards will come out in March/April...

@KapteinFruit That new Intel 2600K is an awesome chip, 5.0 GHz on air! Too bad Intel have stuffed up the 1155 platform and my local etailers are not selling the motherboards for now (some SATA issue). Way to go and screw up a good thing Intel :(.

@KapteinFruit Still haven't really upgraded my main hardware yet, though I'm looking to soon: i7-920 @ 4.0 GHz 24/7 EVGA X58 Classified (old board now lol) EVGA GTX 470 (RMA replacement for my GTX 285) OCed to 805/1610/1800 1x1TB WD green 4x1TB WD Black in RAID 0 + 1 1x1TB WD Black Asus Xonar Xense Dell 3008WFP 30" monitor Black Magic Intensity Pro. Currently saving for 2x GTX 560, Corsair AX1200W & OCZ Revo X2 240GB SSD ^_^. And then maybe a mechanical keyboard.

@3Z3K13L08 Me got a 30"? Well, in my pants, yeah, but not as a monitor. I know that was really lame. lol
I only got a pussy 1080p monitor that's falling apart and got a smudge right to the left of the centre of the screen. It won't go away no matter what and it drives be crazy!
What are your full specs now? I need to upgrade soon, my single 5870 and i5-750 is falling behind now. I must say that my 5870 has served me very well. No problems with it at all.

@justHexX Yeah, it is, sorry about that. Recording smooth gameplay at 2560x1600 would take at least 4 WD Blacks in RAID 0. I have that hardware but recorded this on 4 WD Blacks RAID 0 + 1 (so RAID 0 with 2 HDD essentially). It was a resolution test more than anything else :-).
