Wreckers continue to bring down the Lafayette Building in downtown Detroit on Dec. 21, 2009. The Lafayette opened in 1924 and was designed by noted theater architect C. Howard Crane, who also did the Fox Theatre in Detroit. The demolition follows a lengthy preservation battle to save the unique Italian Renaissance landmark.

No No No. I'd rather have abandoned buildings then empty lots. I love Ruin Porn. lol. I dont want them to tear down the train station. Heck if you are optimistic enough, they'll be used again.
