After years of frustration and countless attempts, it appeared that Nish Motorsports and the Royal Purple Streamliner would once again be denied their long sought after goal...To Push Past 400 MPH. On Monday, September 20th, at the Cook Landspeed Shootout, the streamliner would attempt and fail to reach their goal 6 times. Finally, on Tuesday morning, September 21st, the streamliner would finally reach the goal for which it was designed. It was an amazing feat to witness.
