@delgado12 Didn't you JUST quote me Isaiah 58 as justification for your argument? Do you understand that it's ALL ABOUT sacrifice? About getting your eyes off of YOU & caring for others, about stopping YOUR wagging tongue, about sharing YOUR resources? "Tears and Scar Tissue" doesn't mean just persecution, it means having the heart of Jesus & weeping for those in pain, sharing your last meal, inviting difficult people into your home, being wronged & rejoicing, and more. Praising God for trials.

I'm from Brazil. A famous pastor here went to TV with Mike Murdok asking for money to our cristhian population. Saying that we wold be blessed, even with family salvation, if we give to him 1000 reais (750 dollars). He encourage people to give the family vocation money, and ours son's college money calling that the widow offer. Disgusting!

@delgado12 Sorry. I guess I expected that you commented on the video, not a phrase in it. I didn't accuse you of being a greedy sinner, I just asked if the "good things" that verse is referring to are CASH and how it is stored in a heart.

You said that the currency of heaven was compassion. That is simply another word for what I mean by tears, empathy, "weep with those who weep," - travail for the lost, for the backsliding, etc. There is no "anti winning" or fear or guilt.

For the record, I dont promote the "prosperity gospell" you highlighted at the begining of the video.

What I objected to are the doctrines of sacrifice and sorrow, of anti winning mentality, of fear and guilt, and especially of lack of common sense and logic.
