ADDING A NEWZ PAGE TO SOCIALLY

A newz page is the like a community or neighborhood page except for one key difference. Unlike a neighborhood or community where anyone local can join and post buzz, on a newz page only its creator can post buzz. This allows interested groups to post news for members without having to manage or moderate any discussions. Newz pages are ideal for non-profits, associations, organizations, education or community services or other related entities to provide official newz to interested local parties.

To add a NEWZ page, make sure you are logged in and go to the Socially home page. Click the add yours link just under the Socially logo. Just like when you joined Socially, you will need to input some information. You will need to add a valid address for the newz page you are adding. Follow the same steps for adding a community or neighborhood except select NEWZ for the type page you are adding. Once you have done this your new Newz page will show up for others nearby when they click the see all link in the right hand menu. To help move things along you there is a link at the bottom where you can invite your members.
