@Drivethebeat Joe could've used what he did back in the 70ies, yet he found his sound in later synthesizers. He wasn't using the most actual keyboards during the past 2 decades or less. The Korg M1 has been out of production since 1994, the Korg Trinity is from 1995 I think..... I guess he used them until his death because they helped him develop the sound he was looking for. I'm no friend of recent synthesizers myself but the Korg M1 is really a unique instrument among keyboards.

@Drivethebeat I'm not attacking your standpoint, I just cannot agree with you. Every piece of technology is a product of an evolution of inventions. The technology, and that means instruments in this case, is getting better. Unfortunately, the music is not these days. A generation or two to your would probably say, synthesizers are crap, the piano is better, athough we're talking about two different things. No, I never spoke to Joe but I play keyboards, probably not as good as you.

Too bad this isn't ever going to be out on DVD. What am I thinking? Obviously if it can't make money then it has no value, right?
