@loner1878 Star Trek (XI) in 400 characters or less...Bad guy comes from the future seeking revenge on events that have not happened. Hoodlum Kirk gets on board the enterprise. Vulcans say: “We have no emotions...You Humans are STUPID! STUPID! STUPID!" Punk ass Kirk gets command by fighting with superior officers and forcing them to obey him. Kirk's ill conceived plan to defeat the bad guy miraculously works and everyone forgets his uncouth behavior and gives him command of their flag ship.

@samdonelly7. Now you’re just trying to make me angry by comparing a fake construction to the building of the Empire state building, a building where people died while building it. In Trek building is done safe and fast. The Enterprise is just a ship. What made it a legend are the stories that were told. Besides the one built in this movie is not the real Enterprise from Star Trek, it has no emotional ties to the original series. It was a lame attempted to get the original fans excited.

I got to go with BondFreek on this one. This movie was about as lame and cheesssy as it gets. For those who liked it, "go for it" I'm glad you liked it. Maybe its a generational thing, I was a kid in the 60s when the tv show was on the air along with the Twilight Zone and shows like that. My complaint with this movie and many like them are they have poor continuity and they go just to damn fast and do not develope there charactors. I enjoy reading what people liked and disliked about the movie.

@samdonelly7. You never read it when you were a kid? So you missed out Luck saying "I found out that Chewbacco is my dog, R2-DBoo is my trash can, C3PU is my brother..." Then a spectator saying "It's a good thing that Ham and Lama are only second cousins otherwise their marriage would be just wrong." LOL. You may have started watching Trek because of this movie but it still is a bad movie. Just admit that you like a bad movie. It's not taboo to like bad movies you know.
