New Double Contest!! Co-hosted by Me & luvtheheaven5!! Deadline: Sat. December 10th!

So as you all may or may not know by now, I am no longer able to vid. :(

But I still had SO many video ideas that I really wanted to see done at some point. So I asked my amazing friend Emily (luvtheheaven5) if she'd be willing to host a contest for me, similar to Reverse Request Contest she held before, except it's all her ideas. And she said yes. Cuz she's awesome. But she also wanted to have another half be her own contest idea!

Emily's a Linguistics major and she loves foreign languages. She loves people that vid to foreign songs and she has done it beautifully on several different vids of her own as well.

And so she decided she wanted to see other native English speakers trying to vid songs in other languages :D

So if you want to vid an English song, you should enter my half of the contest. It's Reverse Request and all my requests will be songs sung in English.

But if you don't want to be restricted to what I requests, then please enter luvtheheaven5's half of the contest! :D You'll have to vid a non-English song, and find the song yourself, but then as long as it's a fandom that either Emily or I know, you can make the video about any cast/relationship/character/etc that you want! Multi-fandom within these fandoms, crossovers or AUs within these fandoms... anything is fine! As long as you stick to only these fandoms below.

If you have any questions ask me. We do want a translation of the lyrics either in the video or in the description. It would be even better to see the original lyrics (or a transliteration of them if the language doesn't use the Latin or Roman alphabet) in addition, but Emily & I will also need a translation in order to judge how well you matched the lyrics - that will be part of what we're judging you on! Probably a big part of what we judge you on. Also things like beat matching, effects, etc. will be considered I'm sure.

Feel free to cut the song for I think either half of the contest.I think for both halves of the contest it'd be better if every video is at least 1 minute long though. And if you cut the song, make sure you cut it well, otherwise it might detract from how many points your video receives when we're judging - but if you cut it pretty much flawlessly it won't hurt you at all, don't worry.

Any editor is allowed - Adobe, Sony Vegas, Final Cut, Corel, iMovie, WMM. Whatever you use is allowed.

The deadline for both contests is Saturday, December 10th!! Please tell us if you need an extension. We don't want to extend it too much though, because we'd like to judge it over winter break.

Now the allowed fandoms for the Non-English Songs half of the contest are any of these below. ALL shows below would be fine. However, for the Reverse Requests, only from the top through and including White Collar are good, anything else below won't work for Requests:

I really love the idea of this, I'm such a sucker for reverse request challenges. XD I just want to make sure, we pick which pairings we would want to do and then pm that to you? I just wanted to check before I pmed you with my choices and then realized I read it completly wrong. :D
