Hi Wunderdogg - sorry for the late reply - it's a common lament in our industry-our inverters give us the capacity to provide 18kW continuous, but as with a diesel gennyr, one wouldn't "peg the meter" all day long. The capacity or stamina of the system depends on the load. We now have a hybrid model that provides uninterruptible power via a Tier 4 biodiesel generator running B20, and a new model launching shortly which has a much larger capacity - stay tuned - and thanks for the post.
Your largest unit has 3x 6kW inverters which seems to imply an 18 kW capacity, but for how long with only 2.4kW of solar panels feeding the battery? I'm a big proponent of solar, but this marketing is kinda deceptive.
