i've just started playing american football, granted they have pads but atleast they are allowed to hit
i don't get how my mates who still play AFL can sit there and say that it's a pussy sport but wont even try it.

rugby is NOT pussy..but neither is afl. they both require toughness at the ball and other players, and they both require high level skills of different aspects. i could kick a banana on my opposite foot from the boundary line but probably couldnt get a conversion from right in front. rugby players would be able to tackle better in different ways while they probably couldnt kick a drop punt goal from 30 out. respect both codes oriteeeeee mate
