September 10 launches a menu of Tahoe attractions and activities that will keep water clean, communities connected and curreny flowing -- geotourism; tourism that sustains or enhances the unique assets of a place: environmental, asthetic, cultural, heritage, art and local well being.
From 9am to 2:30pm organizations like the Water Trails, Bear League and Sugarpine Foundation will host people to embrace the native habitat w/o harming it.
From 3pm to 8pm the native Washoe people will share a ceremony with the water at Sand Harbor stage followed by local entertainment, dancing, drumming, sustainability demonstrations, food, brew and more... check out www.TahoeExpo.com fro details and mark your calendar.
