May I suggest you to use porcelain instead of wood? Those handles would look really nice on black or white porcelain or dark treated wood..

a very inspirational video, thanks alot for sharing, but what really got me thinking is how you got to hollow out one of the pieces at 0:24 and the cony one, would really appreciate the feedback

Nice work, I have a piece of a old spray table that my father used in his furniture shop which he discovered he could make jewelry stones out of it and make beautiful brooches that look very similar to what you are turning. I am now going to dig it out and do some turnings and see what happens. Thanks for showing this. Dave from Frederick,MD
