Heres my way of this "jump". You just walk into the lift, dont jump, and make sure you walk from an angle going into the vent. Look where he starts off, but go at it from the side on his right. Than, once you hear the "shwoom" sound just about to stop, crouch and you'll make it in. It took me maybe three or four minutes to master. All you have to do is get down on the right time to crouch.
So, now you technically don't even need to have sprint to do this "jump".

This jump rocks my socks off... Especially in SWAT. Most of the time someone on the opposing team sees you make it and they proceed to get shot... I mean give it a shot.
