Our Rights Are Under Attack!
Historically speaking, the citizens of Texas have long enjoyed a health care environment which has allowed a vigorous and effective complementary and alternative medicine(CAM) health care community to flourish in this state. The 2005 legislative session convincingly demonstrated that this environment has forever changed. Unless the citizens of Texas band together to codify their freedom to access the health care modalities of their choice, progressively more onerous restrictions on health care choice will be imposed by economically motivated special interest groups and their allies in the legislature. The time has come to act.

Radhia Gleis is a Certified Clinical Nutritionist, C.C.N. She is also a Certified BioNutritional Analyst. She has a Ph.D. in pastoral counseling and a M.Ed. in nutrition. She is a professional member of the International and American Association of Clinical Nutritionists, (I.A.A.C.N), and the American Naturopathic Medical Association (A.N.M.A.).

The US invented the internet, the microprocessor, the music industry, the movie industry, the car, the telephone, the cell phone, the computer, etc.

I am an ND and can tell you that the AMA, FDA, and Big Phama is spending hundreds of thousands to stop Natural medicine from becoming the bigger than mega health care. It cost less and has a proven 2000 year history of helping people get healthy. Unlike todays medicine which take a body part out or gives you pill, but doesn't cure the problem. Keep up the fight I sure will.

It never ceases to amaze me how much influence both doctors and pharmaceutical companies have on our elected officials in Washington. Give them a few hundred bucks in the end over backward to help your business while all types of alternative health treatments --from basic vitamin supplements to fancy water ionizers-- are treated like snake oil even though many of their health benefits are well documented!

If "alternate" medicine is proven to work more than just a placebo, it becomes mainstream medicine and is used by real doctors. There are only two types of medicine, ones that work and ones that don't work.

Stibitz may have made the first digital computer, but he could not have done so without centuries of work by others, like the work of Boole.
