Sunita's Story

In January 2007 The Esther Benjamins Trust rescued 20 trafficked Nepalese girls from an abusive Indian circus. See:

After that rescue we pledged that we'd look after the girls. Three years later, one of them, Sunita, describes what she is doing now at the Trust's mosaic art workshop where deaf school leavers and trafficking survivors work side by side.

I am so proud of you guys!!! I must thank you for saving deaf innocent children. I am in tears right now. I totally feel their pain as i am Canadian deaf woman who saw the dark side of deaf lives in Pakistan. Once i am done with my studies, i will do everything in my power to help deaf children and adults because i know damn well that they can do it!!!
