Never won anything? Won the triple crown in '94, 2 Lions series (in Oz '89 & SA '97), 3rd place in IRB 1987 World cup, Heineken cup in '98, 5 Welsh cups with Llanelli RFC & a couple of Leagues with Llanelli RFC this is quite a bit more than Shane. A little tip: there was a lot to Welsh Rugby before Shane Williams & the Grand Slam in 2005.

Yep like losing to Romania, Canada & Italy, however during those dark days there were some good times and as you said the 70's (and don't forget late 60's) were magic.

A "Rahrah" - It's what league-following northern fuck-wits (more often then not from the Yorkshire side of the pennines) refer to Union players as.

Best ignored to be honest. They're pretty harmless ooop-norf, it's mostly bravado.

I remember watching this game in my house (in England) with my wife (who's English), staying in and not going to the rugby club because we were skint (got a £3 for 3 litre bottle of cider from Somerfield). 10-9 at half time, 10-9 at 'no side' (as Bill would say) - there was dancing on the streets of Derbyshire that night, I tell ye! After this game, my missus made a Valentine card (told you we were skint) with two bears in rugby jerseys with the 10-9 scoreline on it - still got it today..
