My parents are pretty decent as far as parents go. One of them is almost always home, they don't gamble, drink, or do drugs. They also spend time with me, and I know that they love me. Oh yeah and they're gay. I've never felt any less feminine because I'm raised by two men. Stop thinking I'm deprived as far as parents go because I wasn't born into the 1950s version of the perfect family.
..cont from below...If we look to Galatians 3:28, we find that all are equally blessed in the eyes of Jesus Christ. If this is so, why wouldn't He also bless marriages between partners of the same sex?
We live in a democracy, and our founders took great pains to keep church and state separate. The constitution's purpose is to protect all of the American people. Let's keep this in mind when we vote. If there was ever a time when we could use a lot of Christ Love, that time is clearly now.
If we're really going to turn to the Bible to argue against gay marriage, then we need to be fair and consider all of the other Biblical passages that are being ignored in this debate. The Bible condoned slavery. It approved a man having sex with another woman if he & his wife could not conceive a child. It condoned polygamy & the keeping of concubines (mistresses). It was written at a time when women were considered to be men's property. Do we agree with any of these ideas today? Of course not.
Then she shouldn't make a video. Making a video puts you at risk for both praise and critisism.
And actually, if you have ever been in a history class, race has everything to do with prop 8. This is the Civil Rights movement 2.0. Hopefully, prople will see past backwards thinking and realize that forcing your opinions on someone else is not okay and never will be.
RE: "Every one is entitled to their own opinion and beliefs" --
How does my comment that I think her argument is not valid impinge on her entitlement to her opinions? (By the way, I too am entitled to my opinions and beliefs, right?)
And before I would consider voting to make people second-class citizens, I would want to be sure that I was basing my vote on more than just my opinions.

If Adam and Eve is true then we are all inbred. Sick.

Too bad that isn't what prop 8 calls for.
What prop 8 calls for is a way for the right wing to stick it to the fags by taking away their right to marriage.
