Sorry guys but I think this man's story deserves more than 73 seconds. Rob was in London with friends and his younger brother. A man approached them, and started attacking his younger brother wielding a knife. Rob defended his brother, saving his life, but sacrificing his own. Rob died as a hero.

@schlubber215 So first it's ban all knives but now there's good reason to carry one? Good reason meaning common sense, in other words, common uses for them. They can be used against the person wielding the knife for "self-defense", and defending yourself with a knife isn't totally justified.

@KBMadhouse Carrying a knife or a gun for self defense is a very good reason. It's not as though the government has any right to demand reason in the first place. Baring arms is an unalienable right for all people everywhere. Any laws to the contrary are violations of natural law and are automatically void. It's the obligation of all decent citizens to go out of their way to violate all illegal laws.

@schlubber215: How would a "decent person in the crowd with a gun" stop the boy being murdered? This wasn't a maniac leaping around waving a knife in the air. How would the "one decent person" know that the killer had a knife, let alone that he was going to use it? Oh wait, I get it - you think we should all have guns and randomly shoot people who LOOK LIKE they might have a knife. You decry the "stupid arguments for gun control", but your post is the best argument FOR gun control.

The police can't protect anyone, even if they wanted to and they don't. They're too busy being hookers for their pimp, the government. Police get there only after the crime has occurred. It's up to people to defend themselves and every time I see a tragedy like this, I'm reminded how defenseless the criminal government has rendered us. If there was only one decent person in the crowd with a gun, this young man might not have been murdered by a criminal.

I can't pretend to be a total fool anymore. I took the incredibly stupid arguments for gun control and replaced the word gun for knife. People are so programmed by the repeated government propaganda, that their critical thinking skills shut off when "gun" is mentioned. Replace the word gun for knife and the stupidity is clear for all to see. The government promised that if they took all of the guns, crime would decrease. They did just that and crime exploded. Gun control is victim disarmament.
