Tiresome in the extreme.
-
This is a message from lord Nergal, "I await you on the dread isle".
-
Haha funny! But it says Lord Denning was not yet born when Donoghue v Stevenson judgment was delivered, he was a prominent lawyer in 1932 when that case was reported.
-
should have included the true construction rant viz., the idol of free contract... that is his most amazing and hilariously intense rant ever.
-
wrong citation.
See [1975] Q.B. 303; [1974] 2 W.L.R. 856; [1974] 1 All E.R. 1059; (1973) 118 S.J. 387

Very funny. One thing though 3:43 Denning did not invent estoppel, but he did reaffirm it in High Trees.
-
D & S was 1932... Tom was a hero by then already...

You could have tried to get his accent!
"Haven't you read High Trees?" - Bitch is missing out big time!

Very entertaining! Although, I think that Lord Denning would have said "intention to create legal relations" rather than "meeting of minds" as the latter is American. Also, Denning resurrected promissory estoppel rather than invented it. - Though invented does sound better!
I loved the dialogue, I wish there was more! Who played the part of Denning?
There was beautiful scenery. I particularly enjoyed the association of Beethoven's pastoral symphony with Lord Denning.
Thank you!
