@snoopyissad What you father said, is true: hard work makes you a man. My father used to say the same. He was a trucker and drove these kind of trucks in earlies 40s and 50s. Congratulations at all these men whose began the trucking industry with real effort and clean work.

What time period is this from, and did they only have 2 axle tractor then, what was the weight limit.

those men had hard days on the road and my dad respects them my dad is driving volvo FH12 conkrete truck and i started working in his company when i was 16. and i proudly look those fotos here.abot those men and truks. My dad sed that hard work makes you a man and i belive him.

The driver was a friend of my dad and he also worked for the same company. I guess he fell a sleep some where in Iowa and was lucky to only get away with minor scratches. In the picture of a guy giving a head lock. The guy giving the head lock is my dad and the other was the driver who rolled the truck.
