This is the theme song of the TV movie re-make of the Cantonese opera 'The legend of the purple jade hairpin'. It is an ancient sad Romance story dated back to Ming dynasty in China, which involved the gift of a purple jade hairpin as the vow of eternal love against all odds, between a talented scholar and a beautiful virtuous poor girl.
