  • where did you get a ring net like that? ive been looking around for one and cant find one with mesh that small but i was thinkin about just making one

  • @eryman17 Here in OZ we get these hoop nets at Kmart, BCF and any good tackle stores.

  • Obviously mate you don't know your crayfish laws in Victoria, Australia. This is how we play down here ; )

For those who may be planning a crayfish trip in the grater Victoria, please read the following Victorian Recreational Fishing Guide 2009-2010

    Happy Cray fishing.

  • @anthacdc I found that Euastacus kershawi are more productive during the warmer months while Euastacus armatus are more active during winter. By law Euastacus armatus are only caught during the winter period, Closed season is from 1 September to 30 April.

  • That is Huge!!! I never tried eating craw fish but I'm willing to (-_-)

hehehehe That size has a lot of meat and it must be taste good!!

  • Is that the biggest you've caught?

  • Hey guys, I chase these magnificent critters every now & then. One of my techniques is to drill a few holes in 35mm film canisters, then fill em with pilchard. The best bait I've used by far. Cheers.

  • Man! I sure love to cook that thing!!! Cook it in coconut milk with some chili wow!

  • hes a beauty mate!

  • @mrTJT2001

    My favorite animal by far.

  • These are crayfish that we have in OZ, and yes many grow HUGE.

    Nice video Mate!

  • @apard7 that wasn't me. But there is a clear difference between a crayfish and lobster.
