There are good mums and mums with 'room for improvement' of all ages. I did not plan to have my child young but i wouldn't change her for the world. I have values, i have respect and i work extremely hard to provide a good life for my family, it's not about age, its about respecting good mum's and the beautiful well balanced children we have raised/nurtured with love xx

I took part in this short production. It was a last minute production hence the nerves!

The question we were asked was - are you ashamed to be a younger parent? To which we came to a unanimous decision of no, we were infact proud to be the fantastic mother's we feel we all are to our children. There is much negativity aimed at young parents in the media, all tarred with the same brush. We feel it necesary to challenge the stereotype that is bestowed upon us,

It's just weird to say "I'm proud to be a young mum", there's nothing to be ashamed of but nor to be proud of! Anyone at any age can be a mother, it's not something to be proud of.

nice vid u should be happy keep your head high i live in carterton well me and my girlfriend and son aged 1 and a half she that place not long ago and said it was verry nice and everyone was nice :-)
