Tian Sheng has finally brought out this awesome giant scale EPO foam Cessna 182 Skylane! It comes with flaps, full metal landing gear, huge 1.8m wingspan and with all the electronics preinstalled.

Flight performance is just great, as can be expected from a 182 and the addition of working flaps give this bird some really awesome slow flight capability.

If you're looking for a large scale trainer that's stable, predictable and with a decent turn of speed then this 182 is for you!

  • Awesome! I remember when factory built, factory powered, model planes were just basic failures. What a great change!

  • @rick121x Certainly is mate, we totally agree!

  • I have one of these great planes (i use it to learn on) the only issue i had was the spats (they're a curse to fit ) how did you fit them:)?

  • @mav362000 They ended up needing to be sanded a little bit - they're held in place with a couple of glue spots

  • One question though, I think the airspeed is rather high, is it able to fly slow and leisurely as well like the real one? I ordered the empty model and want to add my own (electric) system to keep it as light as possible.

  • @sadkingbilly It can fly very slow, especially with the flaps down. The stock power system is a near perfect match for the aircraft so if you can do something similar you will be fine. The airframe is quite heavy already so no need to worry too much about weight - it can handle it :)
