maybe this David Nelson has a brother or two...but no this is not the David Nelson who starred alongside his brother Rick Nelson in Ozzie and Harriet and went on to a sucessful singing career. Pretty tasty guitarist though with the New Riders of the Purple Sage --- their first album was my favorite.

Most of you know David Nelson guitaist with New Riders of the Purple Sage, Michael Elvin Hunt owned and ran a nightclub in San Anselmo called the Lion's Share back in late 60's early 70's. A popular place among the locals in those days. Previous to the nightclub Michael played in some bands, post the nightclub more playing with some bands 'Thunder Road' was a lot of fun in the 80's.
