this is a console game... most of console games have the vsync lock...
for example... Silent Hill Homecoming is locked at 30fps...
Cheers mate

yea i get 50-100 fps on cod4 depending on the mission!!
crysis warhead i get arround 28-36 fps no AA and AF and no vsinc!
is there any way to get rid off vcinc on paradise??
thanks in advance mate!!!

Hey man!
You´re getting 40 to 60 fps because of the stupid vsync wich is activated by default on Burnout Paradise
your system is pretty good, so, i don´t think there´s any bottleneck at all... at leats, not in this game...
the problem with your FPS is the vsync...
Did you tried other games??? how many fps you get in other games?
Cheers mate
hope i could help
Obs: i get a steady 75fps here cause my monitor vsync is 75hz, so, 75fps... if it was a 60hz monitor, it would be 60fps :)
