I'm currently making a documentary about circuit bending and I have found that circuit bending isn't about music. You can make music with it but the fun of circuit bending comes from the lack of responsibility on your behalf. There is something extremely satisfying about ripping apart something stupid and useless to make something silly/scary and useless. I have met people who bend analog video mixing desks to create awesome, audio sensitive visuals.

thats fine if you dont enjoy it...BUT why do people enjoy metal or scremo music? some people find that annoying. (i dont but hey) its alllllllllllll about taste my friend. you cant go knocking someones style of music because YOU dont like it.

The sound of geese has been on fucking amazing records as supplementary sounds to give a sonic pallet depth,In my case,I don't like 90%of what comes out of circuit bending, the last 10% for me is a texture i can use along with more conventional music,to add some flavor. For people who have been writing and making music for years and are tired of knowing that they are doing, love the randomness circuit bending because they have very little direction and control over its end results.

i dont circuit bend I hack this stuff and use it for other things like the toy megaphones on here im gonna mod mine so it can accept the output from my mp3 player and im gonna add an external speaker jack and an on off switch, i might add another jack hooked to the mic so i can make my music sound weird. im not expecting a response to this comment by the owner b/c of what he said in the description but if you like that i dont circuit bend and only hack then you can comment back if u want
