Well, apart from money, you also need to pass many medical and psychological tests, before you are allowed to go to space, don't you?

Another thing is that people who say "I'd do anything to do this or that" actually mean no more no less than "Wow, it'd be cool to do that, but I wouldn't like to spent whole my life pursuing such whim, the gravitation of my everyday problems prevent me from even trying...". People rarely express themselves in precise words.
